Live Trace is the hot new automated tracing capability of Adobe Illustrator CS2. In this Podcast I will show you how to take a logo that was created in Photoshop CS2 and trace it using Live Trace. Because Live Traces are “Live‿ we’ll be able to tweak the settings to get better results. Then I’ll show how to use Live Paint to fill in the logo with the correct colors from the original logo.

Acrobat 7 Professional includes a new capability that enables you to send PDFs to your clients for Review and Markup. That doesn’t sound new right? However, in this version you can enable your PDFs so that even someone with just the FREE Adobe Reader can participate in the review cycle and have the markup tools without requiring that they go buy Acrobat.

The Adobe Bridge is still my preferred way to look at images in a folder. When you’re working on a website, the last thing you feel like doing is creating a separate graphic on every page where you want a header to be. However, if you want to use your own fonts, styles and special effects, you have to do it with a graphic. There would be no guarantee that the viewer of your site would have the same fonts as you do.
