Adobe GoLive CS2 has a complete Quicktime editor built right in. In this episode I’ll show you how to use it to create a photo slideshow movie from scratch using some of your existing photos. After the movie is created you can add it to any of your pages and you can even have the movie point to different URLs as the movie plays.

Although Illustrator is primarily a vector drawing program, it does have some great features for handling raster based images. In this episode we’ll take a look at how to colorize grayscale images. This can add a dramatic effect and also take advantage of spot colors that you’re paying for in your printing job anyway.

OK, I love PDF forms and being able to fill them out right in Acrobat. However, unfortunately not everyone goes through the effort of making form fields on their forms. So rather than print the form out and fill it out by hand, use the Acrobat Typewriter Tool to click right onto the form and type right onto it without the need for form fields. Not only can the Adobe Bridge be used to browse and add metadata to your photos, but it can also be used to connect, or shall I say “bridge‿ your photos to the online Photoshop Services. With the Photoshop Services you can order prints, order books, cards and calendars as well as simply share your galleries online with your friends and colleagues. You can even sell your photos through the Adobe Photoshop Services partners. In this episode we’ll explore these services.

Why do we use Paragraph & Character Styles in our layouts? We do so to speed up our workflows and to provide consistency to our layouts. We’ll now you have a 3rd option and it’s called Object Styles. Object Styles allow you to format your frames and their contents quickly and if you ever need to make global changes you can simply update the Object Style and everything in your layout changes accordingly.
